General Status

TRANSACTION PROCESSING ALERT: If your transaction documents require a signature guarantee American Funds will require the original documents to process your transaction. To expedite the processing of a transactions requiring signature guarantee, please fax the transaction documents to CCC at 503-968-7802 with a cover notating you are sending originals to American Funds, then mail your original documents to American Funds with a cover sheet that states "plan administrator authorization to follow under separate cover". CCC will fax our authorization to American Funds (they do not require our original signatures).

Please note that no loans or hardship distributions are allowed through American Funds

ENROLLMENT ALERT: The American Funds "New Participant Enrollment for 403(b) Basic Individual" account form instructs participant to remit the form to their employer. Please note that the enrollment documents do not require your employer's authorization under the plan. The enrollment process may be expedited by faxing the completed enrollment form directly to American Funds at 1-888-421-4371 prior to submitting an SRA to your employer. Once you have verified the account was established, follow the 403(b) Enrollment Procedures linked above.
