Mainstay Funds (aka: Mainstay Funds) - General Status

Mainstay is exiting the 403(b) market and will not accept contributions after 12/1/08. This vendor will maintain existing accounts. Mainstay provided a notice to participants along with the quarterly statements mailing on 9/30/08.

CCC has learned that certain contributions to New York Life Insurance Company Payroll Slots have actually been deposited to Mainstay Funds accounts, so such remittances after 12/1/2008 have been returned to the Employer. See FAQ by Employers for how to handle these returned checks.
